There are many different genres and types of documentaries which can be considered when planning to produce a documentary.

• Mockumentaries - presented as a documentary but not factual ans foten a parody or satire.
  
• Rockumentaries - documentary based on music, or maily rock music and its musicians
  
• Nature - animals, plants, non human living creatures, the footage is taken in their natural habitat
  
• Travel - describes travel destinations or travel in general
  
• Political cinema - focusing on curent or historical events or social conditions
  
• Lifestyle
  
• and many more...

We as a group will have to look into these types of documentaries in much more detail to choose the right one for us to produce.
