The magazine is most famous as a presenter of images of high fashion and high society. It features articles not only about fashion but also art, culture, politics and ideas.
Ideology>>> The magazine wants to put across all the up do date information about current fashion. It gives out a very strong message that fashion makes a woman. All of the covers of this magazine have had women models apart form the April 2008 cover which had basketball player Lebon James on the cover along side supermodel Gisele Bundchen.
Media Language>>> The language on the cover is very relevant to what the publication to do. 'Vogue' actually means taste at a given time. The magazine definitely related to its name as it is a fashion magazine which informs its audience in the latest trends.
